They provide compassionate palliative and supportive care for people living with HIV or AIDS. This was a concept for the 2011 Casey House Annual Report that focused on bringing awareness and generating support by visualizing facts and statistics that give a sense of how widespread and immediate the need for help and support is within Canada. If you haven't managed to get to the front of the line yet and nab a taco, keep trying! They're worth it. Each taco comes with an art print by a different featured artist for each event. I've never seen so many people wait in hour in line for tacos. The lucha libre inspired art that was based off the Meatface logo ran out long before the tacos did. They wanted to give their top player, Chris Bosh, a gift that served two distinct functions. First, it had to inspire Chris to resign with The Raptors and second, it had to thank him for all the years he'd played in Toronto and celebrate everything they'd achieved together. Chris was one of the first professional athletes to embrace social media and to connect to his fans using new technology. We thought a custom, personalized iPad app would be a great gift. We had a custom iPad made in Raptors red with Chris' logo and designed a magazine app that featured 10 fictional covers and articles. The first 5 were about Chris' time with The Raptors and all their achievements. The last 5 covers were about all the things they could achieve together in the future if he chose to resign and stay in Toronto. Both MLSE and Chris loved the gift and we even got a personal thank you from Chris himself. We wanted to think of a holiday gift that could somehow minimize our environmental imprint and reuse all of that stationary. We decided to print the outline of a snowflake on each piece of letterhead. We then created a simple letterpressed enclosure on recycled paper with vegetable ink. We then made a charitable donation for every snowflake that was mailed back to us or uploaded to our holiday website. The response was great and some clients even made videos of cutting out the snowflake with their kids and sent them to us as well.
